Plan your computing courses, semester by semester
Put courses into semesters and see straight away whether each one can go there: its prerequisites, the semesters it runs in each year, courses it can't be combined with, and how many units you'd be taking. Every warning quotes ANU Programs and Courses (P&C) and links to the page it came from.
Start a plan
Or open the example plan first. It has two problems in it; see if you can find them.
What it checks
- Prerequisites, including rules like "12 units of 2000-level COMP", which it adds up for you.
- When a course runs, year by year for 2026 to 2028, as P&C lists it. Later years are marked "not published" rather than guessed.
- Incompatible courses in the same plan.
- More than 24 units in a semester, which needs an approved overload.
What it can't check (permission codes, which degree you're in, marks) it quotes word for word and leaves to you. It covers the undergraduate COMP courses and the MATH, ENGN and INFS courses their prerequisites name; see the course list.
